Thanks for the proposal.
I am familiar with Woodpecker CI and I have been following the development a little.

Is the idea to also migrate dotya.ml stuff from Drono to Woodpecker?

I guess deploying a smaller, restricted testing instance wouldn't hurt for a start.

Or do you have a specific workload in mind @kreyren?

If there aren't any limitations to the use of Woodpecker CI in comparison to DroneCI then i am for deprecating DroneCI else i like the idea of having both options.

Also can you make the CI to be available for people outside of dotya.ml? See my discussion with finaboo https://freespeech.firedragonstudios.com/web/statuses/106812422161729554

Drone cannot be used outside of a SCM and our instance is paired with this Gitea instance, I think Woodpecker works the same.

Checked the discussion, which reminds me the need to put together proper ToS (#16) and ToU.

I really am not a fan of 90GB repos full of game-assets, aside from the fact that we're probably not quite ready for that scale.

git.dotya.ml is a small, community-run instance, perhaps it'd be well suited to formulate a purpose/mission document or something.

Make a new repo and give me access to submit issues we will do some mapping of policies and i will propose you finished ToS/ToU

Would help to register dotya as spolek in czechia so that we can do economy management simmilar to codeberg or as spolecnost s rucenym omezenym to do some custom witchery.

I don't see a need for that would include that in the ToS/ToU

yeah, this has been brought up befeore, you're right, this needs to get done but I can't quite get myself to it. btw the country would probably be slovakia but never mind, same thing.

I meant as preventive measures etc.

I can propose you the legal work for registering codeberg-like organization if you want, but we have to agree on business plan or funding.

I recently took a look at their GitHub and got a feeling the project is really moving forward and getting traction. and they now even got matrix builds and optionally split configs! inclined to give it a try.

@wanderer invoke # pacman -Suy woodpecker-server woodpecker-ci plz I want to use it to automate kreyren/pman soon

Relevant: https://containers.fan/posts/setup-gitea-with-woodpecker-ci/

Should be the same process to DroneCI

@kreyren indeed, it should be a rather straight-forward set-up, I'll get it working soon™.
