right, resolved by renewing the domain subscription at the existing registrar, be it for a price. still quite cheap, though.

this applies to all services requiring the use of the domain name (*.dotya.ml), not just the homepage. issue first manifested itself ~@2022-06-23T13:00+02:00. Resolved - the cause of the outage of 2022-06-23/24 was I forgot to renew the domain. yeah, I know. fixed (for now) by renewing the domain subscription for another year @~2022-06-24T20:00+02:00. should probably also set a reminder for this time next year...
we can close this now, a new issue might be open should the need arise again to discuss the domain name and registrar options...
