however, redirecting to clearnet gitea for login and then failing to accept the login (back at the onion drone).

status update:
what works is loading publicly available pages that don't require a login.

attempting to log in still returns an error despite attempts to rewrite domains for _oauth_state_ and _session_ cookies on the proxy.
