Mastodon is liberated fork of twitter so that would be used by developers as a point to share their things and inform about changes in their software n' stuff

Does not need too much of bw btw.

I think this is out of scope of code hosting and related services and comes with an additional burden of maintenance and policing needed for the provider to keep the server in a good shape and health.
I'd much rather spend that energy elsewhere (e.g. improving this etc.).

also I don't like social networks that much.

what do you think @dalahast ?
would this be of any use (for other people) possibly?
