The eMMC is the main bottleneck -> Figure out a replacement that is pin-compatible with the current mainboard

you can try to enable HS DDR mode, though this rarely works on AW boards: add "mmc-ddr-3_3v;" to the mmc2 DT node
that should use 52 MHz @ DDR @ 8bits -> 100 MB/s
